Does the e36 BMW M3 sports package (dinan kit) have more horsepower than a regular e36 M3? The one I found says sport package and then goes on to say it has a dinan horsepower kit. I am unfamiliar with this and was wondering what the benefit is.
Dinan is a great high end performance company, and the have done work on some BMWs. Im not sure how much horsepower, if any, the sport package would have. I would think that the "sport package" would have a better suspension setup, more than added horsepower.

Well dat be a queshun u really need to be aksin to Dinan to no fo sho. My guess is dat fo sho it has some increase, but wud i dunno, dat also depends on teh rpm yo engine is at g.
Accordin to their site Dinan’s sport package increases power bout, check it fo realz, 10%. Dat not bad! I also see dey have bigger throtto bodays which let mo air thru fo sho. So if dey also put oter program on yo car’s ECU den dat might help too.

I think its just the body, thats how it is on my bro’s e36 328i. My e36 m3 (’97) has the luxury package with wood grain and what not, but it doens’t affect horsepower that i know of.
