90% of most drivers …
90% of most drivers ( unless your a professional driver) will not get within a half a second to the times in the magazines… These guys are pros The guys doing these tests here are better than the 95% of us but not as good as the pros……

I hate to say it …
I hate to say it but its upto the dealer if they honor your Dinan flashed car… Alot of BMW dealers are not honoring the DInan reflash… or even other Dinan modds these days… 5 years ago the Dlr honored 100% of the warranty on Dinan cars but less then 40% do today……

Dinan and BMW are not getting along very well these days…..

As a daily driver, …
As a daily driver, the 335i (even stock) > M3. There are very few times you can use 306hp/300tq (the 335i is underrated though)let alone 414hp/295tq of the M3 on the streets. With literally $279, you can make an additional 70whp/80hp on the 335i (JB+) and with $579, you can make up to +180whp/207hp with a JB3 and high octane fuel. My 335i will keep up with stock E9x M3’s even though I run a conservative map (360whp/410tq) on my JB3. Reliability will suffer though.

I own a Space Gray …
I own a Space Gray 335i Coupe with BMS Dual Air Intakes and a JB3. That said, I would pick the M3 over my 335i if I wanted a track car instead of a daily driver. The M3 shines when you are revving, the 335i doesn’t need to break a sweat to go fast, because of the torque but it gets boring at higher rpm. The M3 is just made to be tracked…LSD, Tires, Brakes (Not that great), really sporty suspension and of course more power stock. BMW didn’t want the 335i to ruin M3 sales so they retarded it

Yeah, the Veyron …
Yeah, the Veyron made the M3 look like it was standing still.

I doubt you got …
I doubt you got 13.6, you read that in a car mag and told us. Very rarely do average people get the 1/4 times the mags get. But nice try tho….

i luv guys on here …
i luv guys on here sayin juicebox and proceed are faster than dinan reflash. thats just not the case and dinan replaces the factory warranty, so the car is still covered. dinan is well worth the dough and i wud say from owning a flashed 335xi and driving new m3s a few times, my didnan car is faster than an m3. even if its not im sure everyone would agree its close. ill keep my 17k!

m3 ran 13.4 QM..? …
m3 ran 13.4 QM..? ive gotten 13.6 in my stock 335i….

10 damwhodat3 12.04.09 at 8:31 pm

I think you guys …
I think you guys should do a Dinan 135i vs the M3!! That would be an even closer shootout!!

11 Zero22005 12.04.09 at 8:31 pm

They both are great …
They both are great cars!! You can’t go wrong with either of them!!

12 havikjason 12.04.09 at 8:31 pm

no one needs that …
no one needs that kind of power lol, u can get along fine in a 120 hp sohc 4banger. but its the thrill of those 400hp and torque, i even think the 300hp is more than enough. which ever one u get u cant go wrong

13 Tari14 12.04.09 at 8:31 pm

yea your so right …
yea your so right if you get an M3 stock you will have less problems than a tuned 335i. right now i have a 330i the next car i get will either be a M3 or 335 i’m not sure if i’ll need all that power the M3 has though lol.

14 zhangzeyuandss 12.04.09 at 8:31 pm

basically you pay …
basically you pay for what you get. No one force you to buy an M3. You can get 335i and tuned as much as possible it is still an tuned 335i not an m3.The feeling is different. if you get the money for m3 def go for m3 .Less trouble. I personally have an 335i i tuned through dinan with stage 2 package.i still traded it for an M3 when it come out. and 335i has a lot of problems with the HPFP. I do mean a lot of problems

15 Tari14 12.04.09 at 8:31 pm

yea it’s dumb
yea it’s dumb

16 zhangzeyuandss 12.04.09 at 8:31 pm

yeah.. agree totally

BUT!!!, Dinan …
BUT!!!, Dinan products when installed by an authorized BMW Dinan dealer are covered by DINAN for the full warranty of the BMW. So if you have 5 years on your BMW warranty, Dinan will match this and cover any problems!

18 Tari14 12.04.09 at 8:31 pm

I agree 100%
I agree 100%

Anyone else tired …
Anyone else tired of these incomplete, dumb comparisons?. They say that the M3 is better to drive, slightly faster and then go one to complain its not worth the extra cash?. Ok, how about comparing the looks of the cars, the sound of the cars, the interiors of the cars.even the build quality of the car. Virtually every component on the M3 is bespoke to the M3 whereas the 335i shares most of its parts with the basic 3-series. Those are just a few of the reasons that the M3 costs more.

LOL
LOL

21 c0nv1ct1337 12.04.09 at 8:31 pm

Anyone that is …
Anyone that is complaining about the 1/4 miles time is fcken retarded. It all depends on the conditions.

First of all, you can clearly see it is hot as balls where the test is taken. Hot air is less dense. It is a handicap for both, but it has a bigger effect on N/A engines.
Second of all, they just tracked these. Tires are worn out, less traction.
Third of all, the asphalt here MIGHT provide less grip then on a drag strip.

So think before you fcken speak dumbfcks.

24 10MinSi 12.04.09 at 8:31 pm

Dinan products are …
Dinan products are no longer cover under BMW Warranty that was gone in 2006 with the last E46 M3. Now BMW provides (BMW Performance Parts) AKA BMW Performance. They Coast more but most real BMW drivers have the cash for it anyways.

25 datrucolombianballer 12.04.09 at 8:31 pm

Motortrend gets …
Motortrend gets better times from a mustang gt than this m3 they really need a new driver
