Anyone can put a ...
Anyone can put a blower on an engine... The trick comes when you can get that performance WITHOUT it...

If you're interested in knowing what would happen if the M5 had such 'assistance'...google: BMW M5 Hurricane. While this is not a production car (and never will be) it gives some indication of the slaughter that would befall a CTSv (actually - the Hurricane would probably blow past the ZR1 too).

Point being...any company can make any car go any speed if they really want to...

who cares if the ...
who cares if the bmw looks prettier inside than a cadillac. How many people live in their cars? It is easier getting maintenance on the cadillac than the foreign German bmw. Good luck finding a mechanic and by the way their maintenance charges and parts are in the thousands of dollars. Why pick the M5 when you can get a power cadillac for 35k less and not as much to maintain.

I don't feel ...
I don't feel superior - no offense intended.
My favorite US cars are:
ZR1
67' Vette
5.0l Mustang (early 90's)
65-67 Mustang

Global:
E92 M3
335xi
911 GT3
911 C4S
Ferrari Scaglietti
curious about the X5 ///M

M5 - I actually think is ugly from the rear, but I like it from the front and I like it's boringness - just like my old 5.0L Mustang LX (which looked like the regular mustang except for the subtle tail pipes)
