Various other …
Various other components can be changed on a road going car to reduce weight. Sure you will have to compromise comfort and convenience. But those complaining of the latest chassis weights seem as though performance trumps comfort and convenience.
Fixed back seats, light custom exhaust, lighter wheels, removal of A/C, and sound systems, light weight Braille battery, the list goes on. A 3700lb M3 can easily become a 3100lb M3 and yet maintain a reasonably comfortable drivers machine status.

It isn’t the …
It isn’t the chassis that is heavy. It is all the extra equipment, and other components installed to appease the general buying public.

Things very easily removed on a race car brings chassis weight right back down to normal BMW chassis gross weights of the past generation chassis.

To that end, the latest offering from BMW (E92 M3) can benefit from HUGE weight savings even in a road going version. Factory exhaust systems are grossly heavy. Weight savings in the order to 50-90lbs is easily

No I’m not, why do …
No I’m not, why do you ask? I dono if you ever compared a 328i, 325, 330 or a 318 to a 335i but the body has a longer door length and the hood and trunk are all different. This doesnt look like a 335i because it has a way wider wheel base and 4 doors, not 2..
You don’t have to be mean, but please explain yourself. Honestly I dono what this whole 320 thing is, I never head of one and ot be honest what is a world touring car exactly?
