What difference betwen simple BMW & BMW DINAN? What does the buttom do (buttom that has a caron it which goes down hill)? Is there any all wheel drive with sport packeges (XI + sport)?
Dinan is the only Tuner that will not void the factory warranty. The BMW Dinan is a modified BMW that is sold at selected BMW dealerships. The main headquarters is in Waltsonville, Ca (I think?)
Dinan offers all sorts of levels of performance packages. They have them for the 3, 5 and 7 series and also the M cars. In order to have the Dinan badge the package needs to meet a certain level of performance. You can find all this a the Dinan site.
About the XI, the last time I checked (I use to have a 330xi), they did not have a package for the xi. You can use some of the parts they offer on the regular "i". It’s best to check the site.

Dinan started out as a performance chip maker. They’ve grown into a full blown aftermarket BMW tuning shop. They supercharge, suspension and exhaust tune.
