whats up people .. i need help tuning my bmw 335i i cant choose between vishnu tuning " and do all this stages

PROcede Lite (Stage 0)
PROcede Race (Stage 0)
400-410HP (Stage 1)

or go with DINAN!! and do

STAGE 1 2 AND 3??

what do you suggest??

Best Sounding/Performance Exhaust For BMW e46 330i?

Okay I’m buying a used BMW e46 330i (preferably with sport package) in the next two months and wondering which exhaust system would provide my car with the best exhaust note and performance .My budget is around $1200 and I favor clean, deep racecar tones, not the raspy, obnoxious ricer tones (if that makes sense). I live in San Diego and I’m not familiar at all with the cities emissions laws, but I probably need a system with catalytic converters (maybe high flow cats) and I’m not sure if resonators are needed. If anyone has had experience with BMW exhaust systems your response would be greatly appreciated.

Some of the systems i have been looking at are: eisenman, remus, borla, AA, Supersprint, DINAN, and Rogue Engineering.

Yes very decent car,
For me in terms of performance/appearance/sound
-UUC
-Eisenman
-Borla
-Remus

Problem with some of the systems on a 6cyl is they sound a little buzzy, UUC tends to have deepest and most aggressive tone, with a little bark on downshift.

Best installation in my opinion would be full system – catbacks, leave stock cats in place.

All of these systems will be 50 state legal (catbacks).

In due course if you do a performance header installation will improve the complete system and set your car up for more power on the intake side if thats where you decide to go.

Youtube has sound clips, and that would be a good place to start perhaps.

Programming a bmw 335 in northern california?

I am looking for the name and contact info a BMW dealership in Northern California that has reasonably priced programming services. I have gotten two quotes from the Fremont dealer to simply enable in firmware the standard "658" factory alarm system… first one was $185 and today they told me $275! I tried the folks at Dinan and unfortunately they don’t have the most recent version of disgnostic software for this 09/09 335,, so they can’t do it. I need a full BMW dealership, but perhaps one that is a bit more ‘hungry’…

I do not aim to tell you names of "hungry" dealerships.
Neither would I say that the prices quoted are low or high.
I would just like to explain to you what is entailed in programming a virtually new car like yours.
Programming is usually free and covered by warranty (during the warranty period) if the car needs it. If nothing is wrong, meaning the car is working normally yet the owner wants the car to be re-programmed or upgraded (because there are new software versions available) then programming becomes "customer pay".
And usually programming or in your case technically "retrofitting" the DWA (alarm) through coding does not mean that the programming computer would
only work on the DWA. The programmer would look what else needs to be updated or synchronized with the DWA retrofit and do everything
that is required as listed in the measures plan.
It means more work. And not only that. There are occasions when programming crashes or even fries certain computer modules. So it becomes one prolonged, messy and costly affair.
Because of this dangerous possibility I would not recommend having your car programmed by an independent even if they have the GT1,
SSS, or Isis/Isid machines.
Yet the decision is yours alone. I doubt that retrofitting the DWA through coding would be risky but the possibility is there.

Alpina B7 BMW Dinan Remus Hamann

My BMW 740iL equipped with a full stainless steel Remus exhaust system from front to back and ceramic/titanium cats. Additionally I have added a Dinan throttle body & air intake system, plus Dinan engine & transmission chips. The car has also been lowered slightly with new H&R springs, 19″ wheels and ZR rated tires. This is a short clip as it idles and revs, enjoy!

BMW E39 528i steptronic?

1. Does anyone know why BMW changed the final drive ratio from 4.10 to 3.46 from 9/99?
2. If I change mine (7/2000) from 3.46 to 4.10, what is the downside?
3. I use Dinan s/w and so the RPM limit is raised, please keep this in mind, in case it has a bearing on your answers. Thank you very much.

Additional questions.
(1) Is it safe for the car to make this modification?
(2) I assume its a straight swop – how long would it take?
(3) The process is reversible, correct?

1. The pre 09/1999 models have a A4S 310R transmissions. The "4" in A4S refers to 4 forward gears. Post 09/1999 models have A5S 360R transmissions, ie 5 forward gears. This is also the same transmission installed on several other BMW models. The transmission gear ratios have changed hence the drop from 4.10 to 3.46.

2. Downside is subjective. 1st gear will be shorter nad most likely rendered useless. Top speed will be reduced as well. And in some of the gears, while cruising, you may rev a little higher.

3. Dinan transmission or engine s/w or both? The car will still shift as needed.

Best BMW E92 M3 Exhaust?

Which is the best E92 M3 exhaust to get. I’m looking to upgrade the exhaust system and i know the Dinan system doesn’t void the bmw warranty…any tips on what to get from them?

First off Greddy makes crap for hondas DONT do that dinan is a great BMW tuning company here are some other options that are high quality they are a bit expensive but if you own a car such as a E92 M3 you have good taste so you get the good stuff for your car even if it is a little spendy
